Tessa Dare

Tessa Dare is a part-time librarian, full-time mommy and swing-shift writer living in Southern California.

Tessa lived a rather nomadic childhood in the Midwest. As a girl, she discovered that no matter how many times she moved, two kinds of friends traveled with her: the friends in books, and the friends in her head. She still converses with both sets daily.

Tessa writes fresh and flirty historical romance, a blog, and the stray magazine article. To the chagrin of her family, Tessa does not write grocery lists, Christmas cards, or timely checks to utility companies. She shares a tiny bungalow with her husband, their two children, a dog, and many dust bunnies.

Tessa enjoys a good book, a good laugh, a good long walk in the woods, a good movie, a good meal, a glass of good wine, and the company of good people.

Readers 'n 'ritas (RNR) is the perfect event for women and men who love to read and want to share the joy of books with others who have the same passionate obsession. RNR is an extension of the DFW Tea Readers Group which has been tossed from bars, asked to leave restaurants, and closed down tea rooms.. Become part of the legend!

Readers 'n 'ritas is your chance to mingle with your favorite authors in an intimate setting including Guest of Honor Sherrilyn Kenyon and Special Guest Dianna Love. Other authors attending include: Lauren Willig, Dakota Cassidy, Jaye Wells, Rosemary Clement-Moore, Michele Bardsley, Rachel Caine, Tara Taylor Quinn, Our Mistress of Ceremonies is KSCS 96.3 personality Candace Havens.

During your weekend together in North Texas, you will:

• get to know authors in an intimate relaxed setting

Talk books, authors, and more during a kick off on Friday night, a Saturday filled with workshops and discussion groups, a lunch with authors, a HUGE book trade,and an evening with margaritas, entertainment and fun! Then stay for brunch with authors on Sunday morning.

The convention will be held on November 12 – 14, 2010 in North Texas.
